I agree with Dr. Langley, keeping a low overhead, budgeting, and networking is essential. Although it's easier said than done, it's very imporant to do so in order to be successful.

Dr. Tim,

Me again. I think you mentioned to me that there are more chiropractors in Marietta then just about any other place in US. So you might say the market is saturated, yet you stand out. I find this so inspiring. What advice can you give me and others in this areana. In others words what advice can you give us when we decide to compete in an arena where there may be a lot of competition...

Dr. Tim,
Thanks so much for sharing your wealth of knowledge. I have always admired your business acumen. I really enjoyed the sniper theory.

You said it all: keep your overhead low, manage your cash flow properly, don't go crazy buying expensive equipment, market yourself like crazy, huge network of people and take care your body with chiropractic!
Hey Brent, thanks again for the opportunity to participate in ThriveAMERICA! What a great concept!

A few of the books that I like are The Ultimate Sales Letter by Dan Kennedy and anything Geurilla Marketing by Jay Conrad Levinson.

The MOST dramatic case I've seen as a chiropractor is a little girl named Rockie who suffered from seizures her whole life. Her situation was so bad her doctors told her mom to just put her in an institution where she could be cared for professionally because she'd never be like normal kids. that very same girl who was supposed to be socially, mentally and physically retarded and not capable of functioning in society, is now a school teacher. She actually got her Bachelor's and Master's degrees on full academic scholarship. She;s NOT like ordinary kids. She's extraordinary...like kids SHOULD be! By the way, she no longer has seizures or takes medications!
